Sometimes growing up means
we smile a little less,
we worry a little too often,
we burry ourselves a little deeper,
we push our dreams a little too far,

Do you even remember the first time you act on these little things?
And perhaps, when you do, they’re not all so little anymore.
They’ve metamorphosed into this big dark cloud above our heads until we barely recognize who stares back at us in the mirror.

Maybe,
and just maybe,
what we all need is just a reminder,
that once in a while,
every one of us needs a little help.

And that’s okay.
